I am a master degree level strength based client-centered mental health professional. I am licensed in California, Washington State and Oregon.

I love animals, people, sweet smells and the sound of rain.
I have over 19 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. I have worked in outpatient and inpatient mental health clinics, inpatient hospitals, helping Individuals and families learn to cope and manage chronic illness, family illness and trauma.

I’ve worked with individuals with a wide range of needs including life adjustment issues, career challenges, life stressors, LGBT community, emotional and physical abuse, divorce and women experiences, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relationship issues, couples therapy, and parenting challenges. I also specialize in working with the elderly, helping with coping with chronic medical illness, coping with terminal illness, grief and loss, navigating the medical system emotionally and practically and exploring community resources.

My counseling style is inclusive, kind and supportive. I believe in starting were you’re at and supporting you where your needs are the greatest. I believe in building on your strengths and assisting you in ways that help you feel honored and heard.

My therapeutic style combines a strength based, cognitive- behavioral, humanistic, trauma informed, harm reduction, psychodynamic, solution focused counseling approach. I will incorporate our dialogue in your treatment plan to focus on your unique and specific needs.
