Param Sahgal, MD
Dr. Sahgal has managed outpatient clinics in busy community settings in the NJ/NYC tri-state area. He has worked in multiple treatment settings, including the psychiatric emergency room, as well as various inpatient psychiatry units. Dr. Sahgal has also presented at the American Psychiatric Association annual meeting on Anxiety disorders and been recognized for his clinical and teaching excellence. Dr. Sahgal completed his Adult Psychiatry residency training at Rutgers University, during which he also completed an intensive two year training in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the Psychoanalytic Association of New York at NYU. Dr. Sahgal is currently pursuing an additional sub-specialization in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
